Sometimes when accessing my own blog, the speed is very slow, which is very strange. Then my friend suggested that I set up a CDN to speed up the access, and also hide the IP of the source site to prevent it from being hacked. (I don’t think anyone would D my little site.

# About CloudFlare

It is an American cloud service provider that provides free CDN acceleration services and does not require filing or anything. The domestic filing system is really a headache. However, for domestic visitors, the access may be slowed down, but its security protection function is still very good, and the flaws should not be concealed.

# Set CDN

Use email to register, after registration, you will automatically enter the page of adding a website, and add your domain name to it.

After adding the domain name, you will be asked to choose a package, of course it is free:

After the next step, it will automatically scan your analysis settings. Generally, your main site analysis will be automatically added. Like mine, it will be automatically resolved. Here, the main thing is to select the cloud icon on the right. The yellow logo uses CDN acceleration, gray Indicates direct access to the source site.

Update DNS server

The most important step here is to update the domain name server. You need to go to your domain name service provider website to modify your DNS server domain name. My Tencent Cloud modification is at the bottom, for example:

After this step is done, the cloudflare page will show your domain name as ready.

# Effect

The domestic speed has obviously dropped. But the speed of foreign visits is simply scary, faster than I used to.
