Recently, a friend raised some small problems with my blog, and I solved them one by one. I checked the loading speed of my blog with F12. It was really too slow. A static blog took more than 1 second to render. This is very abnormal. The score given by the Pagespeed Insights tool is also in line with expectations, but the score is normal after optimization.

I was very unhappy with the score of 61, so I first tested the vps network, and the test results showed that the network was normal:

There are only a few places where the connection is very slow, such as Amdo. In fact, I didn’t know where Amdo was before. I checked it and it turned out to be Xinjiang...Since there is no problem with the network, there is a problem with the code.

First look at the loading speed:

This speed really loses the face of static blogs. Static means that there are no dynamic elements, so it should be fast.

Then I modified the hexo-next magic, and the speed was directly doubled.

Let me tell you what I did first;

1. A certain amount of compression has been performed on the home page picture, it seems that there is no change, but the size is more than doubled.

2. Changed the faster CDN acceleration for the js script, like my previous comment system valine was distributed by unpkg before, but the speed is slower It’s very urgent. It basically takes 500ms to load. After I changed to a CDN, it only took 17ms. This is the gap.

3. Adjusted the animation of the next theme, canceled the home page animation JS rendering, which saved a lot of time.

Compress everything that can be compressed
Accelerate everything that can be accelerated
Delete everything you don’t need
