RDP supports shared storage devices by default, and we can let it share any USB devices (not arbitrary, just general USB devices, but not all).

On the client computer, open Group Policy: Find Computer Configuration->Administrative Templates->Windows Components->Remote Desktop Services->Remote Desktop Session Client->RemoteFX USB Device Redirection.

Select Allow RDP redirection of other RemoteFX USB devices supported in this computer on the right, set it to Enabled, and then set the RemoteFX USB redirection access permission in the options to "administrators and users (maybe because Windows10 itself account is not considered an administrator).

Make sure to save and restart to take effect.

Open the remote desktop client after restarting, click the display option, you can find other supported RemoteFX USB devices in the local device and resource details in the local resources, and the available devices will be listed.

After checking, the local USB device can be mounted to the remote host.

# Notice

Unlike the way we generally plug in USB devices, the remote host does not seem to automatically install the driver for the redirected device, and it needs to be manually installed before it can be used normally.
